The Zuni native American tribe has crafted gorgeous, fascinating jewelry for over 1,000 years. They are famous for their intricate stone work set in silver jewelry.

One of their most sought-after designs is the Sun Maiden inlayed multi-stone pieces that are worn as pendants, broaches and bolo ties. The artist of this vintage, produced mid-century, bolero tie used Turquoise, Onyx, Coral, and Mother of Pearl in this exquisitely intricate piece. The workmanship detail is rare, note the intricate ribbed design on each of the 11 silver lobes. It is a breathtaking piece of art detailed with a selection of gorgeous rare inlaid stones. The Sun Maiden is 2" wide by 1 ¾" tall. Length of the tie with tips is 32.

Due to its age, the tie material is not original. The piece is unsigned, as is common among many early native Americans artists. Tie condition is excellent museum quality, vintage.
