Vintage Sterling Silver Hollow Cone Earrings 3D Screw Backs Native American. Here's a fantastic pair of vintage 3D cone teardrop sterling silver earrings. They have a slightly domed bottom section and hand stamp work around the bottom. The jump ring connector make the cones able to dangle freely.
These are likely Navajo-made based on their design and construction; however, these earrings are not marked (which was common for Native American jewelry from this time period prior to 1970). The earrings are 1/4" wide at the bottom and 1 5/8" tall. The distance from the top of the screw back post to the bottom of the earring is 2 1/4. Together, the pair weighs 8.3 g. These earrings were obtained from an estate in Chicago, IL whose family was in the Native American arts and crafts industry for over 55 years, beginning in the late 1950s.
