We believe this piece was created circa 1980 or perhaps earlier. This handsome sand cast bracelet was skillfully crafted in the traditional old NAVAJO technique with attention to detail and is in very good vintage condition (please see ALL photos for an accurate detailed depiction).
The beautiful gem quality desert blue green turquoise stone is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There is a bit of roughness in the matrix that doesn't affect the stability of the stone. The oval shaped cabochon stone is firmly and securely set in a smooth silver bezel and measures approx. 11/16" long x 1/2" wide. Overall, the cuff bracelet measures approx.
1 1/4" tapering to 7/8 " wide. The interior circumference of the cuff is approx. 6 11/16" TOTAL including 1 7/16" opening. The cuff has a bit of flexibility for careful adjusting and weighs a very hefty 50.3 grams 1.615 ounces.
