Vintage Navajo Native American Sterling Silver & Fine Banded Agate Cuff Bracelet
On offer is an authentic, vintage NAVAJO hand wrought. 925 sterling silver wide three (3) half round band cuff bracelet adorned with a fine gem quality hand cut and polished southwest desert hue natural banded agate cabochon stone surrounded with raindrop beading. The bracelet is hallmarked, STERLING. We believe this piece was created circa 1940's. It appears to have had some restoration on one band at some point during its journey that is visible for the most part on the interior of the cuff but doesn't detract from the overall beauty of the piece. This beautiful bracelet was skillfully crafted in the traditional old NAVAJO technique with attention to detail and is in very good vintage condition (please see ALL photos for an accurate detailed depiction). The restoration does not affect the strength or stability of this piece. The large beautiful, gem quality desert hue banded agate stone is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The stone is firmly and securely set in a plain silver bezel surrounded by silver raindrop beading. The large oval stone measures approx. 1 1/8" long x 7/8" wide. Overall, the wide three (3) band bracelet measures approx.
1 1/8" tapering to 11/16" wide. The plaque is approx 1 3/8" long x 1 1/16" wide. The interior circumference of the cuff is approx. 6 1/4" TOTAL including 1 5/8" opening.
The cuff has a bit of flexibility for very careful adjusting and weighs 28.8 grams - 1.38 ounces.
