Santo Domingo Indian Pueblo Depression Era Thunderbird Pendant Necklace
We are offering a Depression Era Santo Domingo Pueblo Thunderbird necklace. While the Depression Era was in full swing, 1920's-1930's, Santo Domingo Pueblo artists became very resourceful, producing. Made entirely of repurposed and found materials: sun-bleached animal bone, local gypsum, tiny chips of genuine turquoise, modern plastics and car battery casings. They were usually in the squash blossom style, with pendants protruding from the sides and a Thunderbird pendant at the bottom. N excellent original wearable condition.
No damage or loss, solid and intact - no issues whatsoever. Has a nice warm patina. Normal overall wear commensurate with the age of the piece. Please study the photos as they are a part of the description. Measures 15" long (closed), pendent is 1 1/2" wide x 2 long.
