On offer is an authentic, large handsome vintage NAVAJO hand wrought. 925 sterling silver ring adorned with a natural hand-cut and polished gem quality rectangle shaped cabochon Turquoise stone framed by silver rope. The stone is characteristic of turquoise from the Morenci mine region in Arizona.
The ring is hallmarked STERLING but not for maker which was quite common in NATIVE AMERICAN silver prior to the 1970's. We believe this ring was created circa 1960's. This ring was skillfully crafted with attention to detail in the NAVAJO tradition and is in very good vintage condition (please see ALL photos for an accurate detailed depiction). The natural southwestern sky blue hand-cut and polished cabochon Morenci Turquoise stone is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. It is firmly and securely set in a serrated silver bezel.5/8" long x 3/8" wide. Overall, the ring plaque measures approx. 3/4" long x 9/16" wide; the shank is approx.
1/2" tapering to 3/16" wide. This NAVAJO ring will fit approx. It weighs 9.3 grams.
