Important Vintage Mikey Simplicio Zuni Turquoise Sterling Silver Buckle

Vintage and Museum Quality Specialists. This is a tremendous vintage Zuni inlaid horse silver buckle. This remarkable buckle consists of a center inlaid horse pattern that consists of mother of pearl, abalone and onyx. Surrounding the inlaid center horse are two fabulous unique shaped turquoise stones. The turquoise stones appear to be from the incredible Nevada Blue turquoise mine.

Situated throughout the stones are beautiful silver works that consist of detailed leaves, shells and bordering mountain patterns. The buckle is a superior rectangular shape that measures around 3" X 2" and can fit a belt width of about 1-3/8 or less. The center stone measures around 1-3/8" x 1-1/4". Signed by Zuni artist, Mike Simplicio.
