Genuine Vintage Native American Sterling Silver Triple Strand Turquoise Necklace

WONDERFUL vintage Native American, Navajo hand-crafted triple strand turquoise nugget and pen shell heishi necklace. This lovely necklace is 29 long and weighs 62 grams. It features gorgeous, deep blue-green turquoise nuggets and tan/brown pen shell heishi beads.

The nuggets vary in size from approximately 6 mm to 13 mm and the pen shell heishi is approximately 3 mm. This necklace is in original condition.

It is strung on either sinew or waxed linen and it is finished with a traditional hook and eye clasp. This necklace is a fine example of vintage Native American craftsmanship. The turquoise nuggets are from the same mine and have a lovely polish. They are very well spaced amongst the pen shell heishi beads, giving the necklace a pleasing, balanced look. The hook part of the clasp is not sterling, but the receiving end is sterling silver. The turquoise and shell have been verified by a certified gemologist. This necklace is guaranteed to be an authentic Native American necklace. PLEASE NOTE: Any display items pictured are NOT included.
