The coral branches are of the deepest ox-blood red with natural variances and shapes. The turquoise stones are snake eye cut and have a very vivid shade of blue.
The two colors are beautiful together with just the right amount of each one. The Naja is made of 6 coral branches that almost form a full circle and 1 hanging center blossom consisting of another coral branch and one snake eye cut turquoise stone. The stones are set in a raised straight edge bezel surrounded by twisted rope that is barely visible due to patina build up.Raised edges then engulf the area (in a shadowbox style) with hand stampings and two silver raindrops at both the top and bottom of the settings. The 12 squash blossoms are just as beautiful and coincide perfectly with the Naja. Each blossom consists of a long thin coral branch and turquoise stone. Each blossom is surrounded by thick silver works of hand stampings and raindrops, the same as the Naja.
The blossoms near the Naja are the largest and slightly graduate to smaller blossoms as they go up towards the clasp. The hand-made bench beads are in great condition with no dents and are strung on a thick and sturdy chain. This necklace is somewhat heavy and the Artist made sure to use a strong chain to support it.
The hook and eye clasp is also made of thicker silver and of higher quality. This item has not been cleaned or polished. It has been left in its original state. One of the best attributes of this necklace is its size.... Its large enough to make a bold statement yet, not overly sized to where its gaudy and uncomfortable to wear around the neck....
Its the perfect size and weight for daily wear. This work of Navajo Art is truly a beautiful piece and tangible asset that will last for years to be handed down for generations. Be the new owner of this stunning piece, cherish and enjoy it for now.... Hand it down to loved ones in the future.Weight - 227 Grams / 7.99 oz.
