His designs are particularly desirable as he combines the master silverworks of Navajo Traditional (Old Style) jewelry, and contemporary modern work. Calvin Hand melts and pours all of his own Sterling ingots , then pounds the silver out to his desired width with a hammer or mallot, which makes it VERY labor intensive.
