Vintage Zuni Native American Sterling 2 Row Snake Eye Turquoise Cuff Bracelet

This a very well-made and awesome looking cuff most likely made by a Zuni Native American artist, in the Fred Harvey era. This cuff is stamped STERLING small to medium size at 5 5/8 inch / 14.29 cm and will most likely fit a youth or smaller adult wrist. The band is somewhat flexible to loosen or tighten, but it's not recommended in altering the size or shape very much as it could damage the strength of the cuff as well as loosen the settings that the turquoise stones are in. How to Measure Your Wrist for a Cuff Bracelet.

Use a soft measuring tape (or a string, or a strip of paper and a ruler). Wrap the tape, string or paper snugly around your wrist, just above the wrist bone. Mark where the measuring tape, string or paper meet. If you use a string or paper, lay that flat on a ruler and note the length in either inches or centimeters.

Compare your wrist size to the total inside circumference of the cuff (this includes the gap). Add a little extra inches or cm to this number so that the cuff slides down over your wrist bone and fits comfortably.

Your wrist measures 6 inches. The cuff has an interior length of 6" and a gap of 1". 6" + 1" = 7 total circumference - this would be a good fit for your wrist. Cuffs are not meant to be bent frequently it can damage the metal over time. Most cuffs are only slightly adjustable (up to 1/2).

For a comfortable fit, leave a little room extra room especially for wide or thick cuffs.
