This vintage turquoise cuff is by Zuni silversmith Bernard Cachini Sr. Patriarch of a silversmith family that includes a son by the same name. This piece has all the characteristics of an older piece--slight heft to the silver, the light blue turquoise that is possibly Sleeping Beauty, a signature with dremel on the interior.

But as the years have gone on, I find them less and less and sell them relatively quickly. This one is an unusual design, the silver forming a backbone or spine and the turquoise settings in sawtooth bezel all along the sides of the spine. There are 16 total cabochons of turquoise. We sometimes call this style of bracelet a "row bracelet" or "stacking bracelet" for the fact that it was made to be worn in rows with other narrow bracelets.

But it is also quite lovely when worn alone.
