Vintage Signed Ray Bennett Navajo Sterling Silver & Rhodochrosite Cuff Bracelet
On offer is an authentic, vintage Native American Navajo hand wrought sterling silver triple band cuff bracelet adorned with five (5) beautiful fine hand cut and polished southwestern Rhodochrosite cabochon stones. The bracelet is also decorated with eight (8) raindrop beads. This bracelet was created by RAY BENNETT, the renowned Navajo artisan.
It is hallmarked STERLING, RAY BENNETT and tested positive for Sterling Silver. We believe this piece was created circa 1980's. This classic one-of-a-kind bracelet was skillfully crafted in the traditional Navajo technique with attention to detail and is in very good vintage condition (please see ALL photos for an accurate detailed depiction). The exquisite gem quality Rhodochrosite cabochon stones are all in very good condition with no chips, scratches or cracks.
The colors are primarily pink and gray with some white inclusions. The stones are all firmly and securely set in smooth silver bezels.
The large oval shaped cabochon stone measures approx. 1" long x 3/4" wide; the two (2) medium stones are approx 3/4" long x 1/2" wide; the two (2) pear shaped stones are approx 3/4" long x 1/2" wide. The triple band cuff bracelet measures approx. 1 1/16" tapering to 3/8" wide. The interior circumference of the cuff is approx. 7" TOTAL including 1 1/2" opening. The cuff has a bit of flexibility for careful adjusting and weighs a very hefty 50.1 grams - 1.610 ounces.
