It tested positive for Sterling Silver. We believe it was created circa 1960s. This carinated cuff bracelet was expertly crafted in the traditional NAVAJO technique with attention to detail and is in very good vintage condition (please see ALL photos for an accurate detailed depiction). This piece appears to be hand pulled ingot silver. Overall, the cuff bracelet measures approx.
1/4 wide with an interior circumference of approx. 6 5/16" TOTAL including 1 3/8" opening. It has some flexibility for careful adjusting and weighs 21 grams. This classic NAVAJO Sterling Silver carinated knife edge cuff bracelet expertly crafted by a skilled artisan would make a fine addition to any Twentieth Century Native American Silver Jewelry, or Historic American Cultural Arts and Crafts collection. We have been involved in the design and creation of contemporary jewelry at the undergraduate and postgraduate level since 1967. In 1975 we opened a gallery of hand wrought fine art contemporary jewels and have since handled thousands of unique, one of a kind and limited edition pieces crafted predominantly by American artisans with a special emphasis on Native American Art. Will be determined upon request. We believe our photos and description to be an accurate testament. Thus, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Thanks for looking and good luck.
