On offer is an authentic, vintage NAVAJO hand wrought. 925 sterling silver ring adorned with a beautiful natural hand-cut and polished golden yellow dendritic lace agate cabochon stone surrounded by classic silver rope, fancy wirework and raindrop beads. This ring is not hallmarked for maker or silver content which was common in Native American Silver work prior to 1970's. It tested positive for sterling.
We believe this ring was created circa 1960 or perhaps earlier. This stunning fancy double split band ring was skillfully crafted with attention to detail in the NAVAJO tradition and is in very good vintage condition (please see ALL photos for an accurate detailed depiction). The natural hand-cut and polished golden yellow, white and brown toned cabochon stone is in very good condition with no chips or cracks and is securely set in a serrated silver bezel.
The beautiful elongated Marquis shaped stone measures approx. 1 1/4" long x 7/16" wide. The gem quality Agate is characteristic of material from the Montana and Oregon area. Overall, the ring plaque measures approx.
1 7/16" long x 11/16" wide; the double split shank is approx. 1/4" tapering to 3/16" wide.
