LARGE Sz VINTAGE NAVAJO HEAVY STERLING SILVER CARINATED KNIFE EDGE CUFF BRACELET
On offer is an authentic, big handsome vintage NAVAJO hand wrought STERLING SILVER carinated angle knife edge cuff bracelet adorned with hand filed designs on both ends. This classic bracelet is not hallmarked which was common in Native American silver works prior to the 1970's. It tested positive for STERLING. We believe it was created circa 1960.
This carinated angle knife edge cuff bracelet was expertly crafted in the traditional NAVAJO technique with attention to detail and is in very good vintage condition (please see ALL photos for an accurate detailed depiction). Overall, the sterling silver cuff bracelet measures between approx. 3/8" to 5/8" wide with an interior circumference of approx.8 3/8" TOTAL including 1 9/16" opening. It has a bit of flexibility for careful adjustment and weighs a very hefty 59.4 grams - 1.910 ounces. This classic large NAVAJO sterling silver carinated angle knife edge cuff bracelet created by a very skilled Navajo artisan would make an outstanding addition to any Twentieth Century Navajo Native American Silver Jewelry or Historic American Cultural Arts and Crafts collection.
